Praise Godswill (b. 1997, Atlanta, GA), known online by the screen name @pegnosis, is a Nigerian-American visual artist & designer whose multidisciplinary practice boldly redefines the contours of contemporary Black expression, spanning design, branding, art direction, and generative media. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Godswill is also the founder and administrator behind Proxy Proxy Museum, an experimental art-house launched in 2024. His work harnesses the transformative power of generative technologies and new media, crafting immersive and dreamlike digital landscapes that defy traditional artistic boundaries. Godswill’s creations pulse with an energy that dismantles monolithic perceptions of Black art, instead offering a kaleidoscopic vision of identity that is fluid, multifaceted, and deeply personal.

Godswill’s creative vision has attracted a body of high-profile clientele at the forefront of culture, including Kerwin Frost, A$AP Rocky, AWGE, Babyxsosa, Montell Fish, JT, Body by Raven Tracy, Marshall Columbia, and City Morgue. His design and artistic direction for these boundary-pushing figures and brands reflects a rare versatility—seamlessly moving between commercial innovation and fine art experimentation.
